THESE 9 THINGS ARE SECRETLY FILLING YOU UP WITH SUGAR

We eat a lot of sugar on a daily, if we are not buying snacks in traffic, we are drinking soft drinks etc Sugar of cause isn’t all that bad until it becomes excess and we should aim for healthy eating (a better way to get sugar naturally) to better our metabolism.
Now many people would say, well I don’t eat any of the above mentioned things but then do you know that there are some things that we thought were healthy but are actually filled with sugar? Don’t fret we have the list of some of the biggest culprits;
1. Fruit Juice
Ever wondered why freshly made juice taste different from the packed one’s… Well because it says “100% Juice” on the label doesn’t mean that all you can find inside. Juices concentrate the sugar in the fruits (+its pulp) and so you should drink it carefully.

2. Cold Cereal 
Cereal is one of the most popular breakfast meal but then they off very minimal nutrisional value and the sugar content is ultimately too high. Whether its a 100% grain or not many times they are stripped of their essential vitamins and minerals.

3. Snack and “Diet” Bars
Yes yes yes, you can see save calories on the label or appetite feeling or … the truth is many are loaded with added sugar in form of “All natural honey”. So while you are busy eating that “Healthy bar” before lunch instead of say an apple, you are not doing your waist line any good.

4. Canned Fruits
The only canned fruit I can probably manage are raising but many of you who can’t live without canned fruit well know this if you want canned fruit go for the one’s that are packed in their own juices or in water, the one’s with nectar or honey or syrup  is just a fancy way to say added sugar.

5. Jarred Tomato Sauce 
The average serving of a marinara sauce contains nearly as much sugar as you find in a chocolate bar so except you are eating it with a whole grain spaghetti then my friend its all sugar.

6. Dried Fruit
Yes there is fiber and texture but then there’s a lot of calories too; even sugar from fruits can cause a blood spike so think of these as special treats instead of daily snacks.

7. Canned baked beans
They are packed with protein but they contain sugar or molasses. Canned black beans (low sodium version) are healthier and loaded with vitamins, anti-oxidants and minerals.

8. Flavored Yogurt 
Yogurts are healthy right, yes until when they are loaded with sugar which your body processes and stores as body fat (these include’s low fat yogurt). A plain Greek yogurts is best, just add fruits to it.

9. Barbecue Sauce & Ketchup
These condiments are super popular all over the world but you should know that two tablespoons of either of these sauce contains 14 grams of sugar. “Corn syrup” is why you don’t see sugar on the label , so use these sauces sparingly.
