Driver Tells Police To Kill Him After Crashing Times Square in New York

A driver who was believed to be at the top of the synthetic marijuana drove pedestrians in New York's Times Square before telling police that he was arrested: "I wanted to kill them all." The driver, identified as Richard Rojas, 26, of the Bronx, was arrested dramatically on Thursday after killing an 18-year-old girl and severely injuring 22 others
as he drove through crowds in the popular tourist destination.
A crazy Rojas attempted to flee the police immediately after crashing his Honda brown sedan onto a pole and imagined running across the road with his arms waving. Police said Rojas got into a fistfight with an officer as they struggled to stop him, before he was finally included in a squad car.
Rojas allegedly told police after he was arrested that he wanted to murder innocent pedestrians and then wanted the cops to kill him too, sources told the New York Post.
You were supposed to shoot me. I wanted to kill them, "he told police.
Police sources say Rojas appeared to have smoked the synthetic drug, also known as K2, before the fall.
Others claimed that he was also under the influence of PCP causing hallucinations and mania. He told police once in custody that God had him carry out the attack.
Rojas, a former firefighter apprentice to a Navy electrician who left service in 2014 and never served abroad, blew a 0.0 when alcohol was tested on the premises after his arrest.
He was charged with one count of murder, 20 counts of attempted murder and five counts of aggravated homicide for vehicles on Thursday night.
