The Real Madrid soccer player, Cristiano Ronaldo, has become the father of the substitute twins.

The children, a boy and a girl named Eva and Mateo, were born on Thursday according to the Portuguese television channel SIC.

"Mateo and Eva, these are the names of Cristiano Ronaldo's twins," the channel said. The boy and the girl were born to a surrogate mother. It's a secret that Cristiano Ronaldo has not yet revealed to the rest of the world. "

The television station did not initially say where they thought the children were at the time and revealed that there were still no images of the babies.

There was no immediate official confirmation of the news of the footballer or his agents, but several Portuguese websites and newspapers, including the Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha, were running the story on Friday.

A UK newspaper reported in March that Ronaldo should be the father of twin boys.

She said a surrogate mother on the west coast of the United States was very pregnant and expected babies "very soon".

Ronaldo, who is dating the Spanish beauty Georgina Rodríguez, surprised the world in July 2010 by announcing on Twitter and Facebook that he had become a father.

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, known as Cristianinho, now has six.

The proud grandmother of the child, Dolores Aveiro, revealed in a biography approved in July 2014 in Portugal that he had chosen the young man from a private hospital in Florida.

Cristiano's family always refused to discuss whether his son was born to a surrogate mother, despite claims by a former nanny that soccer's sister Katia had told him she had two Mexican moms.

Caretaker Maria Manuela Rodríguez, who worked at Katia's house in Moita, near Lisbon for 10 months, told the Portuguese newspaper Correio da Manha in August 2011: "I once saw an article in a newspaper saying that the child's mother I wanted him.

Katia said: "It's a lie, because the mother is Mexican and I did not even see if it was a boy or a girl, because she was a surrogate mother," adding that she told him that Cristianinho was "the son of two mothers." Unesdoc.unesco.org unesdoc.unesco.org

"He even told me that the child had two moms, that the eggs were from one and the other taken and gave birth to the child, and that both were Mexican.

"The child was born in a private clinic and the mother did not even see it because it was covered. The baby was born and she does not know anything about it.

The Real Madrid striker took legal action on the article, claiming the newspaper had ventured into his private life.

A Lisbon court ruled in favor of the footballer and fined a newspaper executive, former nanny and two journalists who wrote the story.

It is understood that an appeal against the decision is in progress.

Cristiano has never taken action over other stories about his son’s mum which are given less credence in Portugal, including one that claimed she was a penniless American waitress he paid £10 million to keep her identity secret and hand the baby over to his family after a one-night stand.

The July 2010 Sunday Mirror report said he met her in a Los Angeles restaurant during a trip to the US in 2009, charming her with the line: “Me, you **** ****’.

Speaking in July 2014, Cristiano’s older sister Elma admitted: ‘Cristiano sometimes asks about his mum. Once we told him that she was in Heaven, but my brother and my mum didn’t like that and asked us not to repeat it.

‘We say now that his mum went travelling. He goes silent, forgets about it and doesn’t ask anymore.”

There has also been recent speculation that his girlfriend is pregnant.

Cristiano caused many to jump to conclusions when he posted a romantic photo of himself and Georgina on Instagram in May.

The footballer was pictured with his hand on her belly and captioned the image with a heart emoji – but his mother Dolores Santos has since insisted there was no subliminal meaning.

‘It’s just nonsense’ she said. ‘It’s just a hand on the belly, and as far as I know, Cristiano will not be a father again.’

Georgina later posted a picture of herself to Instagram at the doctors just days after rumours spread that she was pregnant, but it appears she was visiting Dr Rafik Dehni who specialises in plastic surgery and skin treatments.
