Pacific Princess Cruise Ship To Tour The World In 111 days

Princess Cruises has started plans for another trip around the world to take place in 2019.

The 111 days of sailing at the Pacific Princess will begin on January 5, 2019 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and include stops at 41 ports in 27 countries. It will end on April 27, 2019 in Ft. Lauderdale.
Pacific Princess is already scheduled to operate a 111-day trip around the world in early 2018. Although identical in length, the new voyage involves a different route around the globe that includes a passage around the Cape of Good Hope of Africa.
Sailing in 2019 will begin with a passage through the Panama Canal to the west coast of Central America while the Pacific Princess heads to Los Angeles. From there, the 688-passenger ship will cross the Pacific to Hawaii, French Polynesia, New Zealand and Australia before turning north to Asia for stops at ports such as Singapore; Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi, Malaysia; And Phuket, Thailand.
Continuing to the west, Pacific Princess will visit Sri Lanka, the Maldives and the Seychelles on their way to South Africa. Other stops in Africa will include Madagascar and Namibia. Leaving Africa, the ship will cross the Atlantic to Brazil and French Guiana in South America before crossing the Caribbean back to Ft. Lauderdale.
The trip includes three ports of call for Pacific Princess: New Zealand's Stewart Island, the remote Atlantic island St. Helena (UK territory) and the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe.
Fares for the trip start at $22,879 per person, based on double occupancy and not including taxes, fees and port charges of $1,785.
While Princess has offered lengthy world cruises for many years, the 52-year-old line only began offering full circumnavigations of the globe in 2015.
Built in 1999 for now-defunct Renaissance Cruises and later acquired by Princess, Pacific Princess is the line's smallest ship. For a deck-by-deck tour of a Princess ship, scroll through the carousel at the top of this story.
