Baby Named "Ballot" After Kenyan Woman Gives Birth At Polling Center

A Kenyan lady Paulina Chemanang yesterday brought forth a baby girl  while holding up to make her choice in Kenya's race. She was helped by different voters at the Konyao Secondary School surveying focus in West Pokot, before being raced to an adjacent dispensary.

She however returned to vote to the surprise of many and was interviewed by Kenya's Capital FM where she said,
'having given birth at a polling station is a blessing to me and I thank God'.
She named the baby girl Chepkura. "Kura" means ballot or vote in Swahili.
