The Executive Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has appointed Mr Adeoye as a Covid-19 Respond ambassador in the state.
This is coming barely 24 hours after video of an Ekiti-based father requesting his son who recently returned home from Lagos which is currently the epicenter of Coronavirus in the country to be isolated for 14 days went viral.
According to the governor, Mr Adeoye will help to propagate the message as an active member of the Covid-19 Task-force in the state.
The government and the good people of Ekiti state are very proud of Chivalrous act of courage and principle which are the hallmarks of the Ekiti person.
Ekiti state will in the future recognize Mr Adeoye valor as an example of the rebirth of Ekiti Value Orientation which is the central focus of Governor Kayode Fayemi’s administration.
In a related story, it was reported that Ekiti Governor Kayode Fayemi has announced four new cases of coronavirus in the state, bringing to eight the number of confirmed cases.
In a statement he personally signed on Saturday evening in Ado-Ekiti, Fayemi disclosed that the victims contracted the disease from the state’s fourth index case, a 45-year-old medical doctor working with a private clinic in the state
