The song involves several shots fired like a response to his old love flame Pinkett Smith like; "That ain’t my girl, but I got the key to the crib and to the car……You left your man just to f— with me and break his heart reside on the rocky anthem".
Before the song was released, the singer in an interview with Vulture publication said; "If you look up the definition of ‘entanglement,’ it is a complex and difficult relationship. It was exactly that. I think it is just the language that probably stuck out to people. But I definitely have to agree with it being an entanglement. It definitely was something complicated, a complicated dynamic".
However, many fans believe Alsina continues to address the situation at interviews for publicity and to promote his album titled “The Product III: stateofEMERGEncy” which he recently released.
Many Twitter users have reacted to the new song, which contains explicit lyrics narrating Alsina’s sexual intimate times with Jada. Some have described the content of the song as an ‘embarrassment’ and ‘insult’ to the actress’ husband, Will Smith.
