Kemi Olunloyo accused operatives of SARS of extorting from a music artiste she manages, Wealth 9ja. She made the allegation during an altercation she had with operatives of SARS in front of Ecobank building, around Badore area of Ajah, Lagos. The incident was captured on video and shared on Twitter by the journalist, narrating what transpired, in the video, she can be heard accusing the SARS operatives of frequent unwarranted search of Wealth 9ja and demand for money from him.
Olunloyo alleged that SARS operatives ordered them out of their car to search without warrant, she then shared a video of her altercation with a certain Officer Kelechi of SARS, who demanded to also search her purse, she went on to threaten to get the SARS operatives arrested. She tweeted;

Officer Kelechi taping me was the leader of the team. His beef was that I harassed him and lied that police ever EXTORTED @iamwealth9ja. He also demanded to search my bag saying I was hiding DRUGS! I told him he needed a search warrant cos I know my CIVIL RIGHTS 😠
