Seyitan Babatayo, the lady who accused musician, Oladapo Oyebanjo popularly known as D’banj, of rape has written a letter to the police withdrawing her petition.
This happened just as the police said it has been unable to establish a case of rape against the D'banj. It would be recalled that the lady in June accused D'banj of raping her in a hotel room on December 30, 2018.
The accusation spiraled in various controversies including demands for compensations and public apology, alleged intimidation of Seyitan and social media discussions.
