To kick-start this 2nd and final day of the Widows Outreach, Mr. Charles Eluma, Director of Operations of

PUWI, welcomed the beneficiaries to the event, reminding them that the day's event is a testament of a

promise kept. He further encouraged them not to despair but be rest assured that PUWI will liaise  with

the local government management to ensure that they are taken care of, and that none of them goes to bed

 on an empty stomach.

Thereafter, the medical team set to work, checking their vital signs, blood pressure, blood sugar and

counselling   them individually and collectively on how best to care for their health because, indeed,

health is wealth.

In all, 48 of the 100 beneficiaries from previous day benefitted from the health check. Many of them were

full of praises and  appreciation for PUWI for remembering them especially at this time.
