Lagos state judicial panel has approved the reopening of Lekki tollgate where some #EndSARS protesters were attacked and killed by security operatives.
Lagos state government established the panel to investigate cases of police brutality and human rights violations committed by operatives of the dissolved Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in the State.

The nine-man panel returned the control of the tollgate to the Lekki Concession Company, on Saturday, February 6.
The company had been pleading to the panel to take over the plaza for repair and insurance claims since December 2020. Their pleas were denied by the panel, saying it was expecting reports from forensic experts over the examination of the toll gate with respect of the October 20 shooting incident.
