Catherine Udeh, also known as DJ Switch, a Nigerian disc jockey, has reacted to the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry on Restitution for Victims of SARS Related Abuses and Other Matters report.

At least nine people were proven deceased at the Lekki toll plaza on the night soldiers stormed there to disrupt #EndSARS protests on October 20, 2020, according to the panel’s report. This was stated in the report delivered to the Lagos State Government on Monday by the Justice Doris Okuwobi-led panel.

“Shattered so many lives, tried to destroy mine,” DJ Switch tweeted on her verified Twitter page.
Only for what you fought so hard to keep hidden to be made public… by you!
The truth doesn’t need to be defended!

Last year, the DJ rose to notoriety when she used her Instagram profile to broadcast live footage of demonstrators being shot at by Nigerian Army forces at the Lekki Toll Gate during the #EndSARS protests that swept the country.

While the majority of Nigerians applauded her bravery, the DJ claims she is on the run from the Nigerian authorities. So far, the disc jockey is trending at number four on Nigerian Twitter, where she has been praised for her daring in catching soldiers shooting at demonstrators on her Instagram Live.

Rinu took to her verified Twitter page to praise DJ Switch, adding that the event on October 20, 2020, changed and interrupted the disc jockey’s life.

“DJ Switch suffered for over a year on the Lekki bloodbath,” she tweeted.
Her career and life were disrupted, she was shamed, mocked, and chased out of her home, her country, and all she had going well came to an end.
All because she dared to speak up, chronicle the kllings, and tell the truth.”

“Even George Lucas’ business, Industrial Light and Magic, produces vfx for recorded material,” Frank Edoho, a popular on-air personality, added on Twitter. “Yet lies claimed that DJ Switch had the ability to fix a live IG video showing people being shot at.”
The liars among us (citizens) are the ones who should hang their heads in shame.”
